Rwanda Inspiration Backup (RIB) and its partners have announced the campaign for Miss Rwanda 2018. Auditions will begin in January and interested candidates (young female girls between the ages of 18 and 25) are invited to register via www.missrwanda.rw beginning Thursday, 14 December 2017.
Mr. Dieudonné Ishimwe, Managing Director of RIB, said the management looks to pushing the pageant forward:
“The achievements of Miss Elsa Iradukunda and her predecessor, Miss Jolly Mutesi, continue to encourage us to move forward with confidence and optimism. We are working towards making Miss Rwanda a more successful platform for empowerment, growth and transformation.”
Mr. Ishimwe emphasises on the need to push for more impact:
“Our aim for the upcoming year is to make the Miss Rwanda experience more enlightening for the contestants and entertaining for the public. We have keep pushing forward our boundaries and are working with partners to implement plans that inspire impact. Our team is also keen to create strong partnership with other beauty queens in Africa and abroad.”
COGEBANK is the main sponsor of Miss Rwanda 2018. Radisson Blu, RwandAir and RBA are also among the sponsors. The Grand Finale will take place on 24 February 2018 at the Kigali Convention Center.
